7 T H S H O O T - G R E E D . . .

16th April
MY LAST SHOOT AND IM SO HAPPY!!! Today I am shooting my last sin, Greed and I cant wait. My model is a good friend of mine called Laura and with her sandy blonde hair, I think she will be perfect for this look. For the beauty look I mainly concentrated on created a strong bold yellow on the inner corner of her eyes and I used an ombre technique for the lips using orange then blending into yellow. I wanted to make the skin quite sensual so I used a quite an amount of bronzer to contour her face and her shoulder/collar bones.

The most fun was creating the avant-garde look. For this look I made 2 hair sheets consisting of white and yellow crepe hair, which I straightened and combed out to make it really fine. For the front of Laura’s hair I scrapped it back tightly and clipped in place. Then back combing the hair section by section I then folded the hair over itself bringing it forward to create a roll like shape. This disguised the clips keeping Laura’s hair tight and gave me a good base for me to attach the hair sheet. Once the hair was attached I used my fingers to start fanning out the ends so it wasn’t so solid, I felt like it would look its best if its wasn’t so structured and had more flow to it. For the make-up this was quite an easy and quick look, the only difficulty I had was applying the singular false eyelashes to the bottom of Laura’s eye. This was the first time I used single eyelashes on a model during a shoot so it was quite a challenge to make sure the lash was secure and wouldn’t come off whilst shooting.
